Advanced Word 2000 Password Recovery (or AW2000PR for short) is a program to recovering the lost or forgotten passwords to the documents created in all versions of Microsoft Word: 2.0, 6.0, 7.0 (Word 95) and Word 2000. Most passwords can be recovered instantly. "Password to open" for Word 97 and Word 2000, however, requires time-consuming brute-force and dictionary attacks; in AW2000PR they're effectively optimized for speed: about five million passwords per minute (but please don't expect to recover long passwords, i.e. 8 characters or more, in a reasonable time).
