AISBackup is a backup program designed to provide backups of your PC data to the following media: CD-R, CD-RW, Removable Media such as Iomega Zip and Jaz drives and DVD RAM, Local Hard Drives, Networked Hard Drives.
AISBackup is script based, each script contains a list of files and folders to be backed up and the media to which the backup is made. Once a script has been created and loaded AISBackup examines the disk to determine which files need to be backed up. Once this process is complete, simply click Run Backup to start the Backup process. AISBackup uses the packet writing interface to write directly to CD e.g. Adaptec DirectCD, CeQuadrat PacketCD, Ahead, Nero InCD. Please check your CD software documentation to see if this interface has been installed on your PC. AISBackup retains all backed up versions of your files so that you can revert to an old copy of a file.
AISBackup offers 3 methods for backing up to CD:
- AISBackup integrated CD Writer.
- A third party packet writing interface, for example: Roxio DirectCD?, CeQuadrat PacketCD?, Ahead, Nero InCD.
- A third party CD Mastering Application. for example: Roxio Easy CD Creator, Nero Burning ROM and many more.
