Description of AutoPrint program from Softdepia.com:
You know those problems ? - You?d like to send text or graphic files directly to a certain printer but you don?t want to open huge applications first. - Your DOS-application runs well on the new WindowsNT-PC, local printing may work, but a remote printer is no more accessable ! - You can?t find a tool to transfer a printout from your DOS- or
OS-ANY-application to a Windows-based network printer. If your application is able to generate printable files, than here is the ....
Solution:
AutoPrint can automatically manage any printable file, now including graphic files, on a Windows95/98/NT/2000/XP workstation or network server:
+ Especially "irreplaceable" DOS-applications have - if print-file output is possible (!) - unlimited access on one or several Windows-printers.
+ Each public printer in a network can accessed individually.
+ For each printer one or more different inizialization strings can be defined.
+ BMP,JPG and TIF (including multi-page) image files are translated directly by AutoPrint.
+ AutoPrint optionally runs as a WindowsNT/2000/XP service or minimized in the system tray .
+ After successful output the print-files are deleted automatically.
AutoPrint is a "Free to try" program. You can download and try it for an evaluation period.
