Description of Big Ted program from Softdepia.com:
Big Ted is a Fidonet (FTSC) mail processing program for use with Wildcat 5 bulletin boards. It uses a Graphical User Interface and runs under Windows 95 or 98, or Windows NT 3.51 or 4.0. Big Ted is a flexible, powerful, and easy to use. Big Ted can work with BinkleyTerm, Front Door, or InterMail front-ends, which means it can process inbound and outbound netmail, and package echomail, in the style required by each of those 'front-end' mailers. You can also read, write, and send netmail directly with Big Ted, without having to log onto your BBS. Big Ted is written in Delphi (Object Pascal) and is compiled to an .EXE, so it runs fast. Big Ted will toss about 1,000 messages a minute, from start to finish, on a 486/66. Big Ted is easily configured using the companion configuration editor, which contains context-sensitive help. There is no need to write cryptic text-based .CFG files. Big Ted has areafix capability, and is suited for use by hubs.
Big Ted is a "Free to try" program. You can download and try it for an evaluation period.
