Broadcast Assistant Pro (BA Pro) is a professional piece of software originally designed for use on small and mid-sized radio stations. Through our new shareware policy it is now available for everybody. The software works as a front-end for the very popular digital music player Winamp. Currently a maximum of four soundcards and a minimum of one is supported by BA Pro (We recommend at least two soundcards for optimal use). The development of Broadcast Assistant Pro was started early 1998 and has been widely improved since the first version was released in the summer of 1998. Until the summer of 2000 the program was only sold to professional radio stations. But an increased interest in the program from the public made us decide to make the program available for the masses at an unbeatable price (actually less than 1/30th the price of the complete package!). "So, what's the catch?" you may ask. Actually the difference between the complete package and the shareware version is rather small for the common user. You only get a minimum of documentation - no neat printed (or electronic) manual. The commercial organization program is not included, hence you cannot schedule commercials in an easy way. And finally we do not deliver any warranties or hotline support. If you need these features, please enquire for a special upgrade offer. The evaluation copy is further limited to a maximum of three simultaneous audio tracks in the playlist.
