The CoolTicker ActiveX Control allows you to create animated tickers in your Visual Basic or Web application. When a ticker's message is changed the new message is animated to reflect the change. You can specify sounds (WAV files) that will be played each time the message changes. The control exports a large set of properties allowing you customize the font, color and shape of the ticker. You can also specify to which direction the message moves and at what speed. Tickers can also be connected to a CGI program running on the web to receive live updates. You can use CoolTicker to display information in a more attractive way.
CoolTicker Control is a "Free to try" program. You can download and try it for an evaluation period.
