Small size (czSweep.exe is only 25 kb), efficiency and ease of use make czSweep an attractive file maintainance program. It will recover valuable disk space as well as provide security from unauthorized snoops. Simply double click the tray program icon to delete any or all of the following: the contents of the Cookies, History, TEMP, Recycle Bin, Recent Documents, Typed URLs, Auto Complete and Cache files as well as erase the contents of the index.dat files. Even after Cookies, Temporary Internet Files and History folders are cleared a hidden record of all your browsing activity is stored in the index.dat files. These files can be easily viewed by any unauthorized user of your computer. More alarming is the ability of a remote computer to open the index.dat files under Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5 and sniff out the names of the cache folders. Very few programs attempt to remove the index.dat files and czSweep is the only program that we know of which is capable of erasing them without restarting your system. czSweep can be set to do its cleanup at shutdown and startup or by double clicking the tray icon. Cookies can be browsed and marked as 'protected' if desired. czSweep comes with extensive help files, an easy to use installer and uninstaller as well as on-line support.
