DWG2ZIP is a program for distributing and archiving AutoCAD DWG files. The program, which requires that AutoCAD 2000, 2000i or 2002 is installed on your computer, can perform the following tasks on a group of DWG files : 1. Audit; 2. Bind Xrefs; 3. Explode Xrefs; 4. Remove references to unused / unloaded Xrefs; 5. Remove frozen layers; 6. Remove layers which are turned off; 7. Purge all unused entities, layers etc.; 8. Convert R2000 drawings to R14 or R13; 9. Compress the DWG files into a Zip archive; 10. Start your E-mail program with the Zip file as an attachment.
