Easy Splitter is a highly featured and ultra fast file splitter. It can help you backup your files or put large files into floppy disk.
Easy Splitter will split any file, regardless of type (".zip", ".exe", etc.), size (no pesky 4.2 GB file size restrictions) or filename type (short or long filenames). Easy Splitter will restore the file back to its original state for you. Easy Splitter can zip the file(s) to be split before splitting it. Easy Splitter can also automatically unzip the file being restored. You can specify more than one file to be split at a time. Easy Splitter can either zip all of the files specified into one archive and then split the single file or Easy Splitter can run in batch mode and split each file specified one at a time. Easy Splitter will fit the pieces onto any disks that you have lying around. There are no pesky requirements that the disk be empty. Easy Splitter will simply size each piece so that it fits as much onto each disk as possible. (NOTE: Easy Splitter does not currently support splitting directly to a CD-RW). Easy Splitter can split your file directly to your floppy disks. There is no need to split the file to your hard drive first and then manually copy the files to your floppies. Easy Splitter can split files into any size pieces. Easy Splitter has the most common/popular split sizes predefined. All you have to do select from the list - no need to manually specify the number of bytes for a 1.44 Meg floppy disk.
Easy Splitter supports drag and drop so you can select the file(s) that you want to split directly from the Windows Explorer window and drag and drop them into Easy Splitter.

This version of Easy Splitter can be freely distributed to any one. Easy Splitter can automatically include a copy of this program with the split pieces. Therefore, you can split any file, and share it with a friend that does not own a copy of Easy Splitter!
Easy Splitter supported Windows Shell Extension. User can right-click the files and select "Split with Easy Splitter..." to split the files. You can also disable it if you dislike to use that. Easy Splitter automatically registers the ".esh" extension at installation time, so that the user can double-click on any existing ".esh" file to start Easy Splitter in restore mode with the double-clicked file already selected.
Easy Splitter provides full installation and uninstalling support. Simply run Setup.exe to install, and use the Add / Remove programs icon in Control Panel to uninstall. It's that simple. Easy Splitter can create batch file to merge the files. You can use this batch file in DOS computers.
Easy Splitter can automatically remove the file being split for you. Easy Splitter can also automatically remove the split pieces as the file is being restored.
