Description of eXicon 2002 program from Softdepia.com:
eXicon 2002 (short for Extract Icon), is the newest version of the original eXicon application i released in 1998/99. The original version of eXicon was not very user friendly and was relatively slow when compared with todays standards. This new version of eXicon expands upon the original version with new extraction features and improves the speed at least 5 times faster, it also includes additional support for other image types.
This version of eXicon includes the following features:
Extract icons from .exe, .dll, .ico and .icl file formats.
Save icons as 16*16, 32*32 color or 16*16, 32*32 greyscale.
Create icons from Jpeg, Gif, bmp, tga file formats
Convert jpeg,gif,bmp,tga file formats to Greyscale
Create Web Galleries, pre-constructed web pages which let you view all of your icons or images.
New and improved interface and new documentation.
This version of eXicon uses my new image handling ocx aImage which allows me to process the Icons and Images at blistering speeds.
eXicon 2002 is a "Free to try" program. You can download and try it for an evaluation period.
