The Info Tech Professional Random Password Generator is a Win32, graphic user interface application which allows the security conscious system administrator the choice of generating random passwords of any length and in any combination of three character types: letters (upper and lower case), numbers, and/or special characters. The Info Tech Professional Random Password Generator is extraordinarily fast and has a remarkably small footprint (only occupying approx. 200 Kb of disk space, uncompressed). The Info Tech Professional Random Password Generator saves the generated random passwords in the file, password.txt, which is created in the directory in which the program is run. The generated random passwords are saved in an indexed, tab-delimited format. These indexed, random passwords are ready to be quickly and easily imported into any Data Base.
The Info Tech Professional Random Password Generator is driven by a prime modulus multiplicative linear congruential pseudorandom number generator. This program runs on 95, 98, NT, Me, and 2000.
The Info Tech Professional Random Password Generator Version 3 is a full featured random password generator intended primarily for system administrative use. The shareware download generates and saves only one password at a time. The registered version generates and saves as many random passwords as you would like.
