Mirror, Mirror is a unique little utility with powerful results. It will backup your important data files every 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 2 hours or whatever you choose. Unlike traditional backups which need to be performed every day and work by creating a Full Backup and Incremental Backups, Mirror Mirror keeps your current backup your Complete Backup! How does it work? Mirror Mirror backs up your data to any auxiliary drive such as Secondary Drives, Zip Drives, Network Drives, even Floppy Drives... Any drive that can be directly accessed by your system. You select the files and/or folders you want to backup, let Mirror Mirror know how often you want it backed up, and it takes care of the rest! Mirroring drives is a common technique in networking. Normally this is performed by costly software and hardware that actually "Mirrors" drives. There are advantages to this and for big network servers, this is the way to go. However, if your servers and/or workstations are not equipped with expensive SCSI adapters and drives (not to mention the expensive software) give Mirror Mirror a try. Mirror Mirror is not intended to backup complete systems, its primary use is to backup data files that would be irreplaceable should a disaster occur. Drive partitions are useable, however a drive crash could render the mirror files unrecoverable. Mirror Mirror is best utilized with a separate storage device such as a physical secondary drive, removable drives (zip, jaz, etc...), network drives and floppy drives.
