Compass MonNET is a Windows 95/98/NT 4.0, Novell Netware-aware application that allows you to track the user activity on your Novell 3.x, 4.x or 5.x Network....all from a SINGLE workstation! MonNET comes with an easy-to-use interface, a full-featured report generator and online help. It is perfect for keeping track of network and computer usage in educational computer labs and corporate networks alike!
Once our exclusive logging feature has been activated, MonNET will poll all Novell file servers that your workstation is attached to (at intervals that you define) and will take a 'snapshot' of the users who are on the system and record this information into a database. After the logging process has been started, you can press the Minimize button and the MonNET program will install itself on your Windows 95/98/NT system tray and continue logging user activity in the background at the defined intervals. MonNET works with NDS as well as Bindery connections!
At any time (even while logging) you can pull up the MonNET main screen and view a list of users currently logged in to any file server that you are attached to! You can also see what files a particular user has open or even which users have a particular file open!!
