Compass MonNET for NT Networks is a Windows NT-aware application that allows you to track the user activity on your NT 4.x or greater domain....all from a SINGLE workstation or server! MonNET comes with an easy-to-use interface, a full-featured report generator and online help. It is perfect for keeping track of network and computer usage in educational computer labs and corporate networks alike!
Once our exclusive logging feature has been activated, MonNET will poll your Primary Domain Controller (PDC) at intervals you define and will take a 'snapshot' of the users who are on the system and record this information into a database. After the logging process has been started, you can press the Minimize button and the MonNET program will install itself on your Windows 95/98/NT system tray and continue logging user activity in the background at the defined intervals.
At any time (even while logging) you can pull up the MonNET main screen and view a list of users currently logged into your domain! You can also see what files a particular user has open by double-clicking on that user's name!
MonNET for NT Networks is a "Free to try" program. You can download and try it for an evaluation period.
