Net Service Manager is a easy to use Windows NT/2000/XP Services administration and monitoring utility for a whole domain.You can configure Net Service Manager to monitor critical services on specific servers in a regular time interval (1-240 Minutes) and define the action to take, if one of the monitored services fails. The actions can be: Alert, Restart the service, Send an e-mail, or start a program or a batchfile.
Run Net Service Manager on the administrator's workstation (recommended) and configure the servers and the services to be monitored. You need the rights to access the servers and services. It is not necessary to run Net Service Manager on servers.
