Many users have asked -- what kind of application is NetCaptor? Is it a browser addon, a plug-in? What is it? Here's the answer. NetCaptor can best be described as a custom browser application. NetCaptor is a standalone application that uses services provided by Microsoft Internet Explorer to render and navigate HTML. NetCaptor currently requires Internet Explorer 4/5 to be installed on the client computer in order to function. NetCaptor runs under Windows 95, 98, NT4, ME, 2000 and XP and requires that IE is installed (though you don't have to use it).
