The Full Version of NewView is licensed with Unisys Corporation, and we pay a royalty fee to Unisys for every copy of the Full Version that is distributed. Along with the other supported formats, GIF, animated GIF, and TIFF-LZW can be displayed. You may distribute GIF and TIFF-LZW files constructed with the Full Version of NewView (see Help file).
The TIFF library has been extensively updated. Support has been added or updated for 16 bit images, Multi-page TIFF documents, CIE Lab, PixarLog, LogLuv (LogL), YCbCr, CYMK, TIFF-JPEG (Type 7) compression, and planar separation.
While "full color" or "high color" display settings are recommended, 256 color and 16 color displays are supported. Requires Windows 95, 98, or higher.
