PacketX is an ActiveX class library that integrates WinPcap packet capture functionality with Visual Basic or any other programming environment supporting Microsoft ActiveX technology. PacketX has been currently tested on Windows 98/NT/2000 operating systems. In brief, PacketX uses WinPcap libraries to capture (and optionally filter) network packets. In addition to standard capture mode you can collect network statistics and send raw packets. All captured packets or statistics are encapsulated inside wrapper class and returned to client as events.
PacketX Source Code is a "Free to try" program. You can download and try it for an evaluation period.
