PolyView is highly functional, fast and powerful graphics viewer, conversion, and printing utility for all 32 bit versions of Windows. It was designed as easy and intuitive full-featured software for beginners, but now it has the advanced image manipulation, printing, and management features needed for dealing with large image collections. The program supports image acquisition from TWAIN scanners, as well as animated GIF creation and playback, full-screen and windowed slide shows, and a number of filtering options. It offers fast image rendering, panning, and zooming, and can read and write to most popular graphics file formats. The formats supported are BMP, FlashPix, GIF, JPEG, JPEG 2000, KDC, Photo-CD, PCX, PhotoShop, PNG, SFW, SGI, TARGA, TIFF, WMF, and many others. Multiple threads enhance usability and allow time consuming operations, such as image file reading and writing, to be performed together with user interface operations. The software features full screen and window slide shows, specified or random, sound files, and transition effects. It automatically creates Web pages from thumbnail/image sets, and possesses a great number of other extremely useful options.
