PrivateInfo utility enables you to hide your private information from other's eyes by making your private files and folders invisible for operating systems (including DOS). It also enables you to 'wipe' (deleting with no possibility of restoring) files and folders from your drives. Both features are most useful when there is information to hide from your colleagues or your children.
PrivateInfo features include:
*making your files/folders invisible - no one other than you can see these files and folders.
*deletion of your information without possibility to restore it (wiping) - this allows you to permanently delete your information without possibility to restore even a bit of it. You can specify the number of times the wipe process should be performed and the value used for filling the wiped space.
*password protection - PrivateInfo has built-in password verification feature that prevents unauthorized access to your information. Only the PrivateInfo password holder can access invisible files and folders!
*advanced security options - setting these options allows you to specify what kind of actions PrivateInfo should take when there is an attempt of unauthorized access to it. Among those are locking keyboard, locking mouse or limiting the number of times password may be entered.
