Description of Rexmail program from Softdepia.com:
Inetllisync, the bundled synchronisation software supplied with the Rex6000, is great for sync'ing to Outlook. What it doesn't do, however, is sync. the inbox. What Rexmail does is fill that gap and allow you to read emails offline on the Rex and compose new emails offline on the Rex. I get a lot of emails suggesting that you can use Outlook Notes to sync emails to the Rex. You can of course, but this is how Rexmail differs: When you use 'save as note' to get the email into 'note' format, the note has no subject. So it will appear on the Rex as a blank note. So you're going to have to edit each note and give it a subject so you know what you're opening on the Rex. Rexmail does all that for you.
Ever tried using Outlook to get emails back from the Rex? You'll have to sync the Rex, move the note into the outbox, use 'forward' to send it. Then the recipient will need Outlook to read the note. Of course you could sync, open the note, copy the contents, compose a new email, paste the note contents, enter an email address and a subject and then click send.
Rexmail does all that for you.
So for $10 or 7 French francs or 1000 Icelandic kronas or 3 sheep, 2 goats and a turnip, you could make your life easier by using Rexmail.
Rexmail is a "Free to try" program. You can download and try it for an evaluation period.
