ScreenTaker is wonderful software that allows you taking screenshots of your desktop and windows. When you start your system, ScreenTaker responds to hot-keys combination and saves capture either to clipboard or to predefined directory, or displays "Save As" dialog, for you to decide where you want to save image. The capture wizard function simplifies the capturing process. The latest version features image preview window editing capabilities. This simple and highly configurable tool can take snapshots of the entire screen, top window or client area of top window (top window without frame and title bar), of the rectangle area with predefined size, and of an arbitrary rectangle area. Further the screenshots can be saved as Bitmap, JPEG, PCX, TGA or TIFF image. You may use the option to configure color depth of the saved image or compression quality for JPEG image format. The unregistered version puts a copyright message on every saved image.
