SmartSync is an incredibly useful synchronization tool for mobile workers who need to transfer files from office to home and back again. Simply select a folder to be synchronized -- My Documents, for example -- apply any exclusion filters (transfer from this folder, but leave that document in place), and SmartSync wraps up the folder in a handy compression scheme that's easy to transfer from computer to computer via any method you want -- including floppies, e-mail, or even FTP.
SmartSync keeps track of what's new and changed, only adding new things to the package as needed. What could be easier and more timesaving than this?
On the second computer SmartSync will unpack the package, copy new and updated files to destination directories and delete obsolete files.
