The Stones is an intriguing and simple puzzle game that is sure to have you either tearing your hair out or screaming out loud. Either way, you'll want to continue playing until you've completed it. On your left is a blank grid and on your right is a pattern, made of individual circular stones, which you have to recreate in the left-hand grid. It sounds easy in theory, but in practice it's damn difficult. Stones are placed onto the grid via a mouse-click. Whichever square you click on is ignored, but every surrounding square has its properties reversed. Therefore, any squares with stones get removed, while all blank squares are given stones.
Three levels of diffculty offer enough to keep even those of you with the most trained of brains busy for a fair while.
