XLQ complements existing stock market applications by seamlessly integrating worldwide stock, index, fund, option and currency data (including current and historical) into Microsoft Excel allowing you to maintain your portfolio / track the market / or perform personalized analysis the way you want, without having to learn any new application.
45 different formulae are available providing you with the details you need. Keying =xlqPrice("YHOO") into an Excel cell will automatically display the latest price available via the internet for Yahoo, and as the price changes, so does the data in Excel. or typing =xlqHVolume("msft",-1) will automatically display yesterdays volume for Microsoft.
In addition all xlq formulae may be used within VBA to create custom formulae and analysis routines. XLQ serves data to Excel, but is a standalone application, and may be run separately, allowing you to retrieve and view the market data directly.
